The Pkw.K1 Kubelwagen Type 82 was a crucial vehicle widely used by the German military in World War II. It was favoured by German officers and soldiers for its simple structure, ease of maintenance, low fuel consumption and excellent off road capabilities. Because of its boxy appearance resembling a square barrel, it earned the nickname Bucket Car. The type 82's outstanding performance on the battlefield made it one of the symbols of the German military during the war. In the harsh desert environment of North Africa, the type 82 won the trust of Rommel's Afrika Korps due to it's exceptional capabilities. To adapt to the complex battlefield conditions in the desert, the Wolfsburg factory specially equipped the Type 82 vehicles used in North Africa with balloon tires.

The chassis adopts a three piece design, excellently replicating the structure of the real vehicle. The floor and front axle parts are replicated following the real vehicles structure, and they are easy to assemble and paint. Fabric patterned seats and folded soft top are designed by digital sculpting, and they feature natural and vivid details. Windshield and lights are replicated with transparent parts.
This kit includes tires made with soft vinyl material, optional parts like Kar98k rifle and jerry can, and it provides three paint schemes.
